The 2024 Serve Week was a phenomenal success!!!! Thirty-five middle school and high school students helped with North Lewisburg Church’s VBS program in the morning and then worked on several projects in the afternoon. The work projects ranged from weeding and gardening, resurfacing a floor, building a picnic table, restoring old furniture to be used for a clothing closet, to complement the youth food pantry, cleaning up one of the town’s local cemeteries, painting and cleaning the gutters of the home of a homebound elderly couple. In the evening the students both led and participated in worship/devotionals and finished off each night playing games to help bond. Lives of both those being served and those serving were changed.
